On Wednesday, May 4th, the Florida Blue Foundation presented the Mobile Outreach Clinic with a first place grant at their 2022 Sapphire Awards ceremony. The Sapphire Awards are given to organizations, programs, and individuals for successes in decreasing health disparities and advancing health equity in their communities. The Mobile Outreach Clinic was honored with the first place prize in recognition of its robust care coordination program and its ability in 2021 to increase access to telehealth services, provide care for the unsheltered homeless through its street medicine program, increase the number of community health workers, and continue daily clinic care.
