On Thursday, May 23, Grace Marketplace celebrated ten years of providing shelter, food and housing resources to the homeless in Alachua County by presenting awards to community partners. The Mobile Outreach Clinic received the Community Partner Agency Award of the Decade for providing primary care weekly at Grace Marketplace.
Other recipients of awards were Grace Health Care – the Decade of Impact Award, Alive Church – Volunteer group of the Decade, Queen of Peace – Faith Based partner of the Decade, GFR Community Resource Paramedicine program – Innovator Partner Award, and UF Gap – Student Group of the Decade. Each of these organizations have been imperative to Grace Marketplace in helping residents feel dignified and seen.
The MOC would like to express gratitude to Grace Marketplace and its patients. We have enjoyed working with them this last decade and are looking forward to continuing our partnership for many years to come. To learn how you can help: visit Our Wish List | GRACE Marketplace
