National HIV Testing Day

In 2021, over 30,000 people were newly diagnosed with HIV. The Mobile Outreach Clinic want to encourage people to get tested for HIV in effect to promote self-care. Knowing your status will help you to choose options to stay healthy. You can be tested through the local Alachua County Health Department – HIV and AIDS | Florida Department of Health in Alachua (floridahealth.gov) or by scheduling an appointment with MOC (call 352-273-5329).

“It doesn’t have to be national HIV day to get tested! The CDC recommends that almost everyone get tested at least once in their life as a part of preventive healthcare.”
