The University of Florida is proud to announce that Melissa Turley, Pharm.D., MPAS, PA-C, has been named the new director of the UF School of Physician Assistant Studies.
A double Gator alumna, Dr. Turley earned her Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Physician Assistant Studies degrees from UF in 2005. She brings a wealth of experience in pharmacy administration, electronic health records, and primary care.
Dr. Turley joined the UF PA Studies faculty in 2019 and has served as clinical assistant professor and associate program director. In June 2024, she was appointed interim director. Known for her dedication to student success and innovative teaching, she was honored as Outstanding Academic Year Instructor by the PA Class of 2023.
